Laurie Young (Australia) Laurie Young has been working with glass for many years, transitioning from flat (stained) glass work, to fusing to casting to the torch. Specialising in large scale Pate de Verre and casting work, she also has a keen interest in torchwork. After graduating with Honours from Monash University Glass department she and Chris formed Nudibranch Art Glass. Working both collaboratively and individually, they produce a range of work from small items such as jewellery and perfume bottles to large scale sculptures. The combination of cast work with flame working is both original and unique. This piece is entitled "Dream of the Fisherman's Wife", inspired by a woodblock print by Japanese ukiyo-e artist Katsushika Hokusai, of the same title. " Garden of Delights",
