Mirrored Palette is a play on negatives and positives within colour, the bowl is just the form that carries this palette of conflict. It purposely plays with your eyes, which makes you investigate more, and question how the same form can look so different when introduced to positive and negatives. When you really think hard about this, it is the definition of life. So Mirrored Palette, is a reflection of life in colour.
DNA Flow is a work that is meant to make us think about our building blocks that make us all up. You see the layers of colours randomly chosen, and randomly placed within the work. The length of the piece is representing a strand of DNA, with it being easy to see into the work as the satin finish is like blurred fuzzy defining lines within a DNA image.
